Disguised Toast to stream exclusively on Facebook Gaming

On Friday morning, Jeremy "Disguised Toast" Wang, one of the largest content creators in the world, announced that he has signed an exclusive agreement to stream on Facebook Gaming for the near future. Wang, who has millions of followers across his numerous social media and streaming platforms, will make his debut later in the day at 12 p.m. PDT on his official channel, according to a statement from his agency.

 

Soon after he began streaming on Twitch back in 2015, Wang became a popular figure in the Hearthstone scene due to his entertaining commentary, light-hearted gameplay, and mysterious persona as he wore a self-made mask to disguise his appearance. Over time, his popularity into other strategy games as well. In 2019, two titles from Riot Games, Teamfight Tactics and Legends of Runeterra, helped Wang rise to among the most popular streamers on all of Twitch.

 

Raised in Southeast Asia before moving to Canada, Wang's diverse background, in addition to his global fanbase, makes the transition to Facebook Gaming one that aligns with not only his interests but his new platform's.

 

“One of my favorite things about streaming is that I get to engage with viewers from across the world,” said Disguised Toast in a statement. “Throughout my career, I’ve made it a priority to learn about different cultures and experiences. My move to Facebook Gaming will give me a larger platform to share my voice with a global audience and hear their perspectives on the gaming landscape.”

In addition to Facebook Gaming’s reach, the platform offers features that enable streamers to fundraise with their communities for charitable causes, a value that rings true to Wang's commitment to philanthropy. 

 

“Facebook Gaming and I share a deep understanding about the importance of giving back and helping others,” said Disguised Toast. “I have always admired Facebook’s proactive approach to philanthropy, and I am excited about working together to support children and families in need.”

 

As part of this move, Wang will donate 100% of his net proceeds earned from Facebook Stars, a feature that allows creators to monetize their streams through one-time donations from viewers, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for his entire first month on the platform. In further celebration of joining Facebook Gaming, and to share his love for gaming with others, Wang has also donated $20,000 to patients and their families at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

 

Wang is currently represented by United Talent Agency, who brokered the deal.
