Gen.G announced drastic rebuilding of the team.

On the 18th (KST), Gen.G announced through their official twitter that the contracts of most of their players will be terminated. As of this announcement, contracts of eight of the players in Gen.G’s roster, CuVee, Roach, Peanut, Seonghwan, Fly, Kuzan, Rich, and Asper, will be terminated.

The only remaining players will be the bottom duo, Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk and Kim “Life” Jeong-min. Ruler’s contract has been extended through 2022, and Life through 2020.

Many fans were surprised that Gen.G will be parting ways with Lee “CuVee” Sung-jin. CuVee had been a franchise star, who has been with the team since 2014. Many are wondering what Gen.G have in mind for next year’s roster.
