Sources close to Inven Global report that EG has bought IMT's NASG 2019 draft pick for an undisclosed amount. Riot announced earlier this year that they were bringing back the Scouting Grounds draft, allowing teams to have 10 days of exclusive negotiation with the player. 

The draft order was based on Summer placements, which gave EG first pick after their purchase of the Echo Fox slot. They have now acquired IMT's number five pick, giving them two options for exclusive negotiation as we head into the free agency period next week. 

Being a new org to the franchise, EG will make good use of these picks to fill in their Academy slots. This is the first draft trade, but other trades may follow, as orgs may trade all the way throughout the draft itself.
