On the 11th (KST), Hanwha Life Esports signed Son “Kezman” Dae-young as their head coach.

Kezman started his LoL coaching career from the early LoL esports scene in 2012, in Azubu and CJ Entus. In 2016, he moved to China and led his team, I May to the LPL and to Worlds in the same year. Moving to RNG in 2018, Kezman became the head coach, winning the championship in LPL Spring 2018, MSI 2018, 2018 Demacia Cup, and LPL Summer 2018.

His success wasn’t only in the main leagues with the clubs as Kezman coached the Chinese national team to the gold medal in the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games demonstration event. With his diverse experience, Kezman is considered an exceptional strategist with stable macro.

Hanwha Life Esports commented on signing Kezman as the head coach, “Kezman is a strategist that has both strengths of the LCK and LPL with macro and aggressiveness,” and that, “Starting with the news of signing a new head coach, we will be supporting the team with all our hearts so that our players can improve their performances.”

Kezman also expressed how he felt. “I’m back in Korea in 4 years, which reminds me of old times. As much as I’m returning to the LCK in a long time, I need to be responsible and have a sense of challenge. I will be doing my best to reach the top with the players in my new team, Hanwha Life Esports.”
