Congratulations on the victory. You banned Garen, even after they’ve picked Ezreal. What’s the reason behind it?

A lot of people have been playing Ezreal mid in solo queue, so we just wanted to make sure that they won’t be able to flex Ezreal into the mid lane.

You took a late-game composition, which is the norm in this meta. They didn’t manage to shut you guys down, especially the Kayle. Do you know why that happened?

I think late-game champions are strong, but I just think that it’s really hard to shut people down. A lot of people use champions like Elise to dive people under the turret, but the game tends to go later, especially on stage, when there’s a lot of pressure, so late-game picks are just better.

I also feel that these late-game picks can also function well in the early game. Do you agree?

Yes, depending on the champion. Some champions do well while scaling pretty well into the late game, but champions like Kayle do not fit that criteria. You see Kayles sometimes get ahead early, but that’s because of other champions helping out. You’d usually like to get Kayle ahead, so it all comes down to the team composition.

You made an appearance in the Worlds music video, ‘Phoenix’. Some called you ‘Claps’, while others called you ‘Craps’. What do you think about these reputations you have, and do you think they’re still true?

Everyone has their good and bad moments, and I think that was highlighted in the video. Faker and Rookie are obviously some of the greatest, and they’re players that I’ve looked up to the most. To see their good and bad moments in the video as well was cool, and simply put, for me, those might be ‘Claps’ or ‘Craps’, but for others, it might be something else.
