On the 13th, SKT took down RNG to secure their 2nd victory in the group stages of the 2019 LoL World Championship. As familiar opponents who’ve met in a number of different occasions in the past, SKT took the victory by cleverly utilizing the global threat of Twisted Fate’s ultimate.

SKT's ADC, Park 'Teddy' Jin-seong joined Laure Valée in the post-game interview to share his thoughts about their victory.

Congratulations on your victory. You knew that RNG was going to play around their bot lane, and despite a seemingly winning matchup in top lane, why did your team invest into the bot lane?

We figured that we would be losing out more if we didn’t play around bot lane, so we’ve invested our resources into bot.

Despite that, it seemed that you’ve had a tough time in the mid game. Can you explain what happened?

Xayah’s wave clear was better, so she was doing well against Ezreal. I was supposed to poke and chunk her HP down so that I can go around the map and make plays, but because of getting caught out by Blitzcrank, it didn’t go as planned.

How did you feel to play against the legendary ADC, Uzi, in your first appearance at Worlds?

As you’ve all watched, he’s really good, so I’ll have to step up my game when I meet him next time.
