At the last next@Acer conference, Acer revealted its new esports platform, Planet9. Planet9 is an open community that allows gamers to build their team, train for excellence and challenge for victory. It is currently in closed beta and will enter open beta on January 30, 2020.

Fueling the Game Stats on Planet9 platform is Esports One’s robust stats and data platform, OneData. OneData helps gamers on Planet9 optimize their performance allowing them to see their lifetime game stats, match with the right coaches, and work on personalized training based on the statistics gathered and analyzed from games.

Within milliseconds, OneData can ingest the largest esports titles, every possible league, and tournament at every available data point, compare it to historical/lifetime records and generate live data feeds. OneData provides an entire data pipeline to collect, store, translate, and display statistics for Acer’s Planet9 platform. Games supported on the platform currently include League of Legends and Dota 2 with more games to come.

“When Esports One first started our discussions with Acer, we wanted to understand what they were truly looking to accomplish with Planet9," explained Esports One CEO Matt Gunnin. "It isn’t in our blood to be just another data company, supplying whitelabel API solutions. We found a partner in Acer that saw the future of esports the same as us and put innovation front and center.”

Currently, OneData is integrated into B2B API services, stats content for fans, broadcaster tools and pro team tools with further expansion in the near future.
