What was suspected in a leak has now been confirmed in a visual: the next Fortnite collaboration will be with DC Universe's Batman. Fortnite JP News tweeted an image of a Batarang, one of Batman's trademark weapons, stuck in a haystack in Tilted Town.

While nothing else has been revealed or stated publicly by Epic Games or any other Fortnite-affiliated party, the Batarang is a trademark weapon of Batman and a near-undeniable indicator of an upcoming collaborative event between the DC Universe comic hero and Epic's Battle Royale mega-hit.

The collaboration would not be the first of its kind, either. Fortnite has previously crossed over with Marvel's The Avengers, first in collaboration with the release of Marvel Cinematic Universe film 'Avengers: Infinity War', and again for 'Avengers: Endgame.'

Fortnite's Patch 10.31 was only recently released, so we may not see the Batman crossover come to fruition for another week or two. This story will continue to be updated as more information becomes available.
