Today, the Fortnite Twitter channel posted this tweet implying that something out-of-the-ordinary was in this collage of Fortnite imagery:

Upon close inspection, fans saw the iconic Borderlands 3 psycho character featured heavily in the franchises marketing and box art. 

While the details of the collaboration aren't known, it is likely a new Borderlands 3 themed skin available for in-game purchase within Fortnite. Borderlands 3 is set to launch on September 13th and, with the partnership between Borderlands, 2k Games, and Epic Games to release the game exclusively on the Epic Games store for 6 months in full swing, this type of collaboration was not totally unexpected.

 Fortnite is scheduled to update to August 27 at 4AM ET. So, if we are to see any type of Borderlands 3 IP inside Fortnite soon, it will likely happen soon.
