2019 LCK Summer Split Finals will again be between Griffin and SK Telecom T1.

SK Telecom T1 defeated DAMWON Gaming in the semifinals 3-0 and reached the finals. As Griffin was awaiting at the top as regular season champions, the finals again will be between Griffin and SKT.

The two teams had clashed in the last spring split’s finals, where SKT won 3-0. It was similar to this season as Griffin had been waiting as the regular season champions. After their loss, Griffin has been seeking revenge. However, as Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok previously said that their ‘goal is to win the championship’, they are ready to give a good fight.

The two teams have each confirmed a spot at the 2019 World Championships; this finals will be a battle of pride. The grand finals will take place on the 31st (KST), at Hwajeong Gymnasium, Seoul.
