On the 13th, at the Seoul LoL Park, Day 24 of the 2019 LCK Summer Split took place. On the second series of the day, Kingzone DragonX defeated DAMWON Gaming with a score of 2-1. KZ had lost the first game but they quickly turned the series around with a reverse sweep.

The following is Deft's broadcast interview after the match.

You won your first MVP title this summer. How do you feel?

DAMWON had a strong start this summer, so it feels great defeating them. DWG has a strong top and mid lane, whereas our team has a strong bot lane. I'm proud that we won.

At the Rift Rivals, it's known that all the LCK teams shared their picks & bans strategy and information with each other. Did that trouble you guys at all today? Kingzone banned a lot of top lane champions today.

It didn't trouble us. We simply drafted something different. We banned a lot of top lane champions because Nuguri's carry potential is outstanding.

We saw you smiling after picking Jynx.

An opportunity to play Jynx arose, and I felt that we can win if I play her. That's why I smiled. Hearing the fans cheer after picking Jynx made me smile even wider.

What conversation did you have with the team after the victory?

Before the match, a lot of my teammates predicted that we'll lose today. In the end, however, we ended up performing really well and won. It was an unexpected result, and I'm happy with it.

Any last words?

There are a lot of things that I learned through my experience at Rift Rivals. I want to make good use of it and make good results in Round 2.
