At the conclusion of Rift Rivals 2019: NA vs. EU, Team Liquid was the only team that managed to showcase a respectable performance. The reigning LCS champions showed adaptation on the rift as the tournament progressed, putting G2 Esports in the dirt with its final performance at Rift Rivals.

Team Liquid also impressed off the rift, announcing a partnership with Marvel. In addition to the partnership, both Team Liquid X Marvel shirts as well as Avengers-themed jerseys are now available for fans to purchase. The three jerseys: Captain America, Iron Man, and Quantum Realm, all sport authentic designs inspired by Marvel's flagship series and the TL organization.

Jensen sat down with Inven Global's Lara Lunardi after Rift Rivals 2019: NA vs. EU to give his thoughts on his team's new partnership. "I think it's really exciting that such a huge company like Marvel would support Team Liquid," said Jensen. "Overall, I'm just excited to see where this will take us in the future."

Jensen also casted himself and his teammates as members of Marvel's multi-franchise crossover superhero organization the Avengers. While the star on his jersey might give his role away, Jensen's selections for his four teammates, especially Jungler Jake "Xmithie" Puchero, were interesting to say the least.
