On the 28th, Golden Guardians announced through their homepage that they’ve acquired Victor “FBI” Huang, Darshan “Darshan” Upadhyaya, and Choi “Huhi” Jae-hyun on their academy roster, Huhi as support.

FBI had played in Bombers of OPL as their bot laner. He recently appeared in the play-ins of the MSI. Darshan had played for Counter Logic Gaming for over five years. After the 2019 LCS Spring Split, he left the team and joined Golden Guardians Academy. Huhi had previously played alongside Darshan in Counter Logic Gaming until he left to join 100 Thieves last spring. Although he played as a mid laner for most of his career, he has transitioned to the support position to face a new challenge.

Along with the player announcements, Golden Guardians also announced changes in the organization. Jimmy Harrison will serve as head coach, Nick “Inero” Smith as assistant coach, and former GGS Academy jungler Nicholas “Potluck” Pollock rejoined the organization as Two-way player coach.
