On the 29th of May (KST), Gen.G Esports announced that they’ve signed Lee “Rich” Jae-won and Kim “Asper” Tae-ki to their roster. By signing Rich, a legendary Heroes of the Storm player, and former Hanwha Life Esports supporter, Asper, Gen.G has strengthened their roster for the upcoming 2019 LCK Summer Split.

Rich had debuted as a Heroes of the Storm player in 2015. As a Heroes of the Storm player, Rich won three HGC Global Final championships, 2 Eastern Clash championships, and 1 Mid-Season Brawl championship. After stepping back from Heroes of the Storm, he joined the Gen.G Esports LoL academy team. Not long after his transition to a LoL player, his performance was recognized and was called up to the first team.

Asper started his pro gaming career in Hanwha Life Esports after performing well in the 2018 LoL tryouts managed by KeSPA. As he parted ways with Hanwha Life Esports in April, he joined Gen.G and will be appearing in the LCK again.

Along with Rich and Asper, Gen.G revealed their roster.
