On the 13th, 100 Thieves announced that they’ve acquired Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider as their starting jungler for the upcoming LCS Summer Split. Through their official Twitter, 100 Thieves expressed their excitement of acquiring him by saying that they are “excited to bring his veteran experience, leadership, and voice to the team.”

Amazing started his League of Legends career back in 2012. As one of the oldest active players in the scene, he has played for several decorated teams such as Team SoloMid, Origen, Fnatic, and FC Schalke 04. In the most recent season, he managed Schalke Evolution, the academy team of FC Schalke 04 Esports.

100 Thieves had high expectations prior to the start of the 2019 spring split by acquiring Bae “Bang” Jun-sik and Choi “Huhi” Jae-hyeon, but they weren’t able to live up to their expectations by finishing in last place with a 4-14 record. After the season, they parted ways with Huhi.

Along with announcing Amazing as their starting jungler, 100 Thieves confirmed their starting roster, with Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho at top, Max “Soligo” Soong at mid, Bang at bot, and Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black at support.
