The 2019 LEC Spring Split has come to an end and the qualifiers for the playoffs has now been finalized. With G2 Esports on top going into the postseason on a 13W - 5L record, Origen, Fnatic, Splyce, Team Vitality, and SK Gaming will also participate to compete for the LEC trophy.

Starting from this split, a new playoff format will be introduced; the "Juggernaut" match. Different compared to the usual format where the 1st place team goes straight to the Finals, this year, the 1st and 2nd place teams will face each other in round 2 in a Juggernaut match. The winners from that bo5 will go straight to the finals and the loser faces the Round 1 winners. This Spring playoffs, like always, will also determine who will be representing EU in the MSI and Rift Rivals; the champions will be heading to the MSI Main Event, and teams from 1st to 3rd place in the playoffs gets a ticket to the 2019 Rift Rivals.

Meanwhile, the LEC 2019 Spring Playoffs Finals will be held in Ahoy Arena located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on the 14th of April.
