Tempo Storm, the modern esports organization who first got its start leading the way in competitive Hearthstone has now picked up a competitive Apex Legends team. Currently, the organization has signed players competing in Hearthstone, Super Smash Bros., Shadowverse, PUBG and Fortnite. The acquisition of an Apex Legends team is just another indicator that Apex Legends has emerged as a front-runner among Battle Royale titles.

The following players are now representing Tempo Storm in Apex Legends:

- Carlo "Dcop" Delsol - Role: In-game leader
- Zuhair "Zeerocious" Taleb  - Role: Sniper
- Alec "Etheriia" Braganza - Role: Flanker
- Lucas  "Drenzi" Medaris - Role: Flex

The lineup is filled with amateurs and past FPS competitors alike. Dcop and Zeerocious have proven FPS chops from their time competing in amateur and collegiate Overwatch leagues. On the other side of the team, Etheriia also found success through amateur Overwatch, but primarily served as a coach and game theorist. Drenzi, a ranked Overwatch grinder who once peaked as one of the top 30 players in NA, has had perhaps the most straight forward path to Tempo Storm signing — just grind enough to get noticed.

Statement from Christopher "CAlan" Esquibel, team manager.

"With Tempo Storm’s ability to offer strong team development, help in fueling us to always strive to be #1, and veteranship and experience in the esports industry, we knew that signing with them would be a perfect fit. I want to thank T1 Wawa for pointing me in the right direction and introducing me to the team, as well as Jordan King for being an awesome Tempo Storm staff member and helping us through the signing process. Finally, I want to give a special shoutout to my beautiful wife, one of my biggest supporters and motivators to get me into esports."
