The main tournament will feature 16 teams and 18 matches over three days, culminating in crowning the champion on July 28.

From a viewership standpoint, the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024, with one of the largest prize pools in the game’s history, has been intriguing. Currently, it ranks 26th in peak viewership among PUBG Mobile events, with 384,823 concurrent viewers, according to Esports Charts. However, this is before the main event has begun.

As the tournament progresses, there’s a strong possibility of a viewership surge. An action-packed Survival Stage and high-stakes main event could propel the World Cup into the top three, setting the stage for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 in November.

The current record for peak viewership in PUBG Mobile is held by the PUBG Mobile Global Championship Season 0, which had a $2 million prize pool in 2021 and peaked at 3.8 million viewers, three times more than its closest rival.
