Coming ahead of the 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour Riot Games has announced the thirty partnered teams that will make up the VALORANT International Leagues. The leagues will take place in the Americas, Asia, and Europe — with teams not invited able to compete in the new Ascension tournaments. According to the announcement, some of the factors for the selections were organizations' connections to fans, sustainability, and possession of values (diversity, pro support, etc.).
