On Aug. 27, the pre-LCK Finals Fan Festa was held. The Fan Festa was a pre-show for the 2022 LCK Summer Split finals, which consisted of various events. The Fan Festa started with an opening promotional video, followed by the GCK collegiate derby. On the side, there was a Fan Festa booth tour with Lee “Wolf” Jae-wan and Bae “Bang” Jun-sik. Quiz shows and cosplayer events followed.

One of the highlights of the event was the debate among Wolf, Bang, Kim “Khan” Dong-ha, and Shin “Nuclear” Jeong-hyeon, where they discussed how the finals tomorrow would go.

Wolf and Bang didn’t specifically predict a winner, but they shared their thoughts. Wolf said that T1 will come up with a special strategy just for the finals. Bang said, “Whichever team wins game 1, they will pick up momentum and win 3-0.” Meanwhile, Khan picked Gen.G as the winner, and Nuclear thought if Doran plays well, Gen.G would win.

Besides the important discussion about the finals, the legends discussed some other light topics, such as “a support that takes care of only me vs. a support that wins teamfights but doesn’t give a bother about me”, or “who’s better at LoL: liberal arts major vs. natural sciences major”. Another topic was “Master Yi mid vs. Teemo jungle”.

The 2022 LCK Summer Split will come to an end with the grand finals tomorrow. Gen.G and T1 will face off to decide the final winners.
