[UPDATE: June 16] Following the announcement of T1's top laner, Choi "Zeus" Woo-je extending his contract until 2023, T1 announced that they've successfully extended Moon "Oner" Hyeon-joon's contract as well, until 2024.

Both Zeus and Oner have caught the attention of many, even during their rookie days as part of the T1 Youth program. Most recently, both Zeus and Oner played in the Mid-Season Invitational, where T1 finished 2nd place.

T1 will be playing their first Summer split match against Nongshim RedForce on June 17.

On June 14, T1 announced that they’ve extended their contract with their top laner for their LCK team, Choi “Zeus” Woo-je until 2023.

This news follows the contract extension of their support player, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok in April. Born in 2004, Zeus is a player that T1 has grown under their wings. He became the starter for T1’s LCK team at the start of the 2022 Season. Throughout T1’s undefeated run in the Spring split, as well as his most recent international run at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, he’s proven his worth as a player that can compete with the best of the best.

After their second place finish at MSI, T1 looks to recharge and move forward once again in the upcoming Summer split. T1’s first match will be against Nongshim RedForce on June 17.
