With LPL’s RNG winning the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, leagues all around the world are getting ready to enter the Summer split in their respective regions. According to multiple credible sources within the LCK, the 2022 LCK Summer split will kick off on June 15.
Many predicted that the Summer split would kick off a week earlier than the date above. However, due to the cancellation of this year’s 2022 Asian Games, LCK decided that the kickoff date will be a week later.
T1, who finished 2nd place in the recent Mid-Season Invitational, looks to play in the latter half of week 1. This looks to be LCK’s decision in giving the team as much time to rest after their exhausting schedule of competitive play since the Spring split.
Meanwhile, LCS and LEC’s Summer split will kick off on June 17. LPL’s Summer split kickoff date has yet to be announced.
