Super Smash Bros. player Michael "Riddles" Kim has just signed with Team Liquid ahead of MomoCon. The team announced that the Terry and Kazuya main would be joining their stacked Super roster on May 25 with a stylish video portraying Riddles as Kazuya. Juan "Hungrybox" DeBiedma also shows up as Heihachi Mishima, a Tekken antagonist.

"Do you believe you have what it takes?" Hungrybox challenges him.

"Thank you everyone for the support. It's honestly overwhelming but I appreciate everyone who helped me get this far. Job ain't done yet though. I'ma be on my grind both as a competitor and as a content creator for the foreseeable future. Excited for this new chapter," Riddles tweeted after the announcement.

While definitely an exciting signing for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate community, it isn't a complete surprise. Rumors about the signing started back in April when Riddles first revealed he was a free agent. After listing his credentials as a top Smash player, Hungrybox replied: "I see." With Hungrybox now co-owner of Team Liquid, the Smash community felt Hungrybox may have a say in signing Riddles to the organization.

Apart from Hungrybox, Riddles joins Samuel "Dabuz" Buzby, Kashan "Chillindude" Khan, and Ken Hoang, among others, on Team Liquid's stacked Smash roster. Riddles will wear the new jersey at MomoCon — a Gold Tier tournament beginning today in Georgia, which is also part of the Smash World Tour 2022.
