After their fourth game and fourth loss of the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational to VCS representative Saigon Buffalo, LLA representative Team Aze have been mathematically eliminated from Rumble Stage contention. Team Aze are now 0-4 at MSI 2022 and their last two matches against LCK representative T1 and LJL representative DetonatioN FocusMe will be played for solely for regional pride.

While their international performance has been winless thus far, Team Aze's domestic significance is worth mentioning. After being promoted to the LLA for the 2022 season, Team Aze became the first team in Latin American League of Legends esports history to win the LLA in their first split as part of the region's premiere league. Unfortunately for Team Aze, they have been outclassed by the rest of the teams in their group.

Team Aze will have to watch the Rumble Stage and Knockout Stage of the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational from the sidelines in company with LCO representative ORDER, CBLoL representative RED Canids and TCL representative İstanbul Wild Cats.

RED finished in 3rd place of their group at 2-4, one game ahead of IW at 1-5, but ORD went 0-8 in Group C after losing all of their matches to LCS representative Evil Geniuses who finished the group 4-4, and LEC representative G2 Esports, who moved onto the Rumble Stage with an 8-0 record.

After Team Aze's 4th loss of MSI 2022, three teams remain in contention for escaping Group A and qualifying for the Rumble Stage. T1 is in 1st place with a 3-0 record and still has yet to drop a match in the 2022 League of Legends esports season. Saigon Buffalo, who finished 2nd in the 2022 VCS Spring Playoffs because of GAM Esports' choice to prioritize the SEA Games over MSI, are 3-1 after their win against AZE. DFM has one win against Team Aze and have lost their other two matches.
