On Apr. 19, Nongshim RedForce announced that Shin “Coco” Jin-young has joined their LCK team’s coaching staff and that their previous coach, Chae “Noblesse” Do-joon, will be moved to coach RedForce's Challenger League roster.

Coco has had a very long tenure as a mid laner, dating back to his first stint as a pro gamer for Xenics Storm in 2012. His career has since taken him through CJ Entus and Longzhu Gaming, before joining Vici Gaming in the LPL in 2018. Coco transitioned to coaching role in 2019, staying with SANDBOX Gaming (now known as Liiv Sandbox) for five months.

Coco will be joining the newly appointed head coach for Nongshim, Heo “Irean” Yeong-cheol, a figure with vast experience both in and outside of Korea. With the team finishing in eighth place in the 2022 LCK Spring split, they hope to revitalize themselves with new coaching staff for the Summer Split.
