Riot Games have reached a competitve ruling for Ultraliga head coach Konrad "Kaseko" Szewczak and have suspended him for one year, the company announced Wednesday. According to the post, Riot Games Competitive Operations investigated the matter with Ultraliga staff after receiving a report on Kaseko. The infractions committed by Kaseko included account sharing, Elo boosting, in-game toxicity, and win trading.
Riot claim to have taken extensive measures to conduct a thorough investigation, stating "During a Youtube interview, Szewczak has shown various tweets and match result screenshots which allowed Riot to do a detailed analysis and confirmed their accuracy.
As a conclusion, with unquestionable proof, Riot found Szewczak to have been doing the aforementioned infractions multiple times across multiple seasons, across both EU and NA regions."
Kaseko was head coach of the Polish team Maroon Bells in Ultraliga 2nd Division, a team created just earlier this year. This was Kaseko's first venture as a head coach in competitive League, having previously competed as a support player on various amateur teams in Europe, including Pater JuleZ, OP innogy, and TEAM #OPTIONS. While with OP innogy, he played alongside Steven "Reeker" Chen, now the mid laner for MAD Lions in the LEC.
Maroon Bells publically condemned Kaseko, calling him a "deviant", "bandit" and a "criminal" and confirmed he's been released from the team.
