After a week's break, the 2022 LCK Spring Split resumed on Feb. 9. T1 faced Hanwha Life Esports and DRX faced KT Rolster. T1 remained undefeated this season by getting a 2-1 win and extended their winning streak to 7. In the second match, DRX got past KT Rolster despite all the recent issues within the team.

As soon as Zeri was available to pick in the LCK, Hanwha Life Esports picked her up. The early game was neck and neck, as the two teams traded three kills each. Although the kill score was tied, Hanwha Life Esports’ champions had better late-game potential, and they didn’t hurry. In a teamfight at the 21-minute mark, Hanwha Life Esports took a big win as they scored an ace. This continued to the next Baron fight where Hanwha Life Esports had another big win. Although T1 was staggering, they were still standing, but Lee “SamD” Jae-hoon’s Zeri struck them down to take game 1.

T1 came back in game 2. They drafted Jinx and Karma into their bot lane and snowballed through their bot duo. Hanwha Life Esports scored on their top side, but T1's snowball grew too fast. Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong's Jinx scaled rapidly, taking down two turrets before the shields went down. Afterward, T1 kept their distance from Hanwha Life Esports' champions as they poked with Jayce and Zoe. Although Hanwha Life Esports' Tryndamere scaled well, he didn't have a chance to strike back. T1 ended the game in 25 minutes and tied the game.

Hanwha Life Esports had a better start in game 3 as top laner Lee "DuDu" Dong-joo picked up a solo kill and Kim "OnFleek" Jang-gyeom added two kills. In following fights, Lee "SamD" Jae-hoon's Caitlyn started to stand out, and Hanwha Life Esports pushed ahead, taking the lead in dragon stacks. T1 continued to strike back, but it wasn't easy. Until Hanwha Life Esports collected the dragon soul, T1 barely managed to pull close. However, as the game went on, T1's counter attacks got stronger. In the teamfight at the 46-minute mark, T1 finally turned the game around. Ryu "Keria" Min-seok's Tahm Kench saved T1's main champions and made the plays. With the win, T1 collected their 7th straight win of the season.

The second match was between DRX and KT Rolster. DRX recently had several issues as they parted ways with their head coach and most of the starting roster tested positive for COVID-19. Due to the COVID-19 infections, DRX started the first game with four Challengers players. Unlike the predictions, DRX Challengers players had a great performance. Although KT Rolster went ahead, DRX caught up through skirmishes. At the fourth dragon, DRX pushed forward through Song "Clear" Hyeong-min's Gwen. This led to a big teamfight win, and the reward was Baron. KT Rolster started to panic while DRX calmly pushed through top lane. After cutting off Azir, DRX went all the way.

As DRX's starting roster recovered just before today's match, they returned to their main roster for game 2. From the beginning, DRX pressured KT Rolster's bot lane, collecting two kills while Hong "Pyosik" Chang-hyeon took the dragon and the Rift Herald. However, Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram's Zeri didn't fall. When DRX attempted to slay the Elder Dragon, KT Rolster blitzed them to strike back. When they won the second Elder Dragon fight, the global gold and kill score was turned around. DRX managed to keep their Nexus alive, but the game was decided by Zeri as she snuck past the DRX champions through the back door and took down the last turret and Nexus.

The long day came to an end with DRX's win. Game 3 was close from the beginning. KT Rolster were ahead in kills, but DRX caught up quickly by gaining turret gold. In the fourth dragon fight, the game tilted heavily towards DRX. They utilized Jayce and Jinx's long range in the fights. Kim "Deft" Hyuk-kyu's Jinx was just as advertised as he lured in the opponents and dealt massive damage in the last teamfight. Through the win, DRX collected their fourth straight win and placed themselves in 3rd place.
