Irish streamer and YouTuber Minx was banned from Twitch on Monday for saying the word "cracker" which Twitch defines as an offensive slur and bans under their hateful conduct policy. This is Minx second ban on her Twitch account.
"I am not laughing. I am repenting, and hoping I can appeal, to get unbanned earlier. [Twitch] is my main source of income," Minx said in a video explaining why she was banned. "The slur was 'cracker.' A 7-day ban. Why would I even say it again? I am going to start saying the c-word."
After the streamer let slip the 'slur' which refers to the history of white folks owning black people as slaves and 'cracking' whips, she attempted to recover with a Ritz cracker joke. However, that recover was to no avail.
Hasan Piker, his mods, and other big streamers, have faced similar bans in recent months for saying the word. The term is controversial, with some arguing that it is a racial slur on the level of the N-word, while others have questioned whether the term is truly as offensive or racist as terms that are targeted at racial minorities and historically oppressed groups in America.

Hasan banned from Twitch, reportedly over use of term "cracker"
Regardless of your view of the term, Minx has fallen afoul of Twitch's policy, which has pretty clearly banned the world. So she will be gone for the next week, unless she can somehow convince Twitch to shorten her ban length.
