In the 2021 LCK Awards, all eyes were on Heo “ShowMaker” Su as he took home seven awards, including the Best Player of the Year award. Over the year, ShowMaker led DWG KIA to two LCK championships and a runner-up finish at the MSI and World Championship.

As DWG KIA won both splits in the LCK, DWG KIA players took home the most awards. Through his achievements, ShowMaker was awarded the Best Player of the Year award. He was also voted on the All-LCK First team for both splits, took the summer final MVP, mid laner of the year, best KDA award, etc. 

Along with ShowMaker, DWG KIA jungler Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu was voted on the spring All-LCK First team and was awarded the spring season MVP and jungler of the year awards. DWG KIA top laner Kim “Khan” Dong-ha, who retired after Worlds, was voted on the spring All-LCK First team and was awarded the spring final MVP and the top laner of the year awards.

The LCK Awards were held for the first time this year. Due to the pandemic situation, it was held without any spectators.
