On Dec. 3, T1 officially announced that they have re-signed Choi "Polt" Seong-hun as general manager and head coach. T1 also announced that they re-signed with coach Kim "Moment" Ji-hwan and Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong will re-join T1 as coach.

Polt signed with T1 as general manager in November 2020. He worked publically to speak up about parting ways with Yang "Daeny" Dae-in and Lee "Zefa" Jae-min and Kim "Canna" Chang-dong transferring to Nongshim RedForce.

Moment joined T1 as coach in December 2019. He was sent down to the Challengers roster this july, but called up to the main roster after T1 parted ways with Daeny and Zefa. Moment led T1 to finish in the finals for the LCK Summer split 2021 and the semi-finals in Worlds 2021.

Bengi played as jungler for SKT T1 from 2013 to 2016, winning five LCK Championship titles and three World Championship titles. In November 2020, Bengi joined T1 as Challengers head coach and won Challengers Championship title in the Spring split in 2021. He left T1 Challengers team last month but re-joined T1 as coach for the LCK roster.

T1 finished in the semi-finals for Worlds 2021. Faker and Bengi re-united in T1 to aim for the World Championship victory in 2022. They carried the golden age of SKT T1, winning three World Championship titles from 2013 to 2016. Will they win it all again after five years?
