Dennis "Svenskeren" Johnsen has posted a Twitlonger regarding his future as a professional player. The jungler, who most recently competed with Evil Geniuses throughout the 2020 and 2021 LCS seasons, has confirmed he is currently without a team and has been unable to find a new home this off-season.

The Twitlonger reads as follows:

I have not been able to find a team this offseason. I have been playing in the LCS since season three without missing a split and this will be the first time I won’t be starting. NA has been my home for the past six years and it’s sad to think that last summer might have been my last time playing there. I’m still very dedicated and I know that I’m still good enough. I want to keep playing in NA as I love living and playing there.

I’m currently in Denmark and open to all options in NA so I can continue to grow and develop in the region that feels like home.

Svenskeren's contract with Evil Geniuses expires on November 15, 2022, but following the acquisition of Rogue jungler Kacper "Inspired" Słoma, it looks as though Svenskeren is without a job for the 2022 LCS Spring Split unless a team wants to buy him out.

Svenskeren is a North American resident and has competed in the LCS for the majority of his career without missing a split for six straight years. Svenskeren began to share time on Evil Geniuses with EG Academy jungler Juan "Contractz" Garcia as the 2021 season progressed, but to see the Danish veteran without a team is not something that has happened yet in his near-decade long career. Contractz, on the other hand, has signed with Counter Logic Gaming as their new jungler.
