On Nov. 23, Gen.G and Nongshim RedForce announced that they’ve traded Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong and Han “Peanut” Wang-ho. As of this announcement, Bdd will play for Nongshim RedForce and Peanut for Gen.G in the next season.

Over the past two years, Bdd contributed to Gen.G’s two Worlds appearances and two LCK finals. Especially known for his Azir pick, Bdd was always the savior when Gen.G was in critical situations. During his days in Gen.G, Bdd was always considered one of the best mid laners in the league.

Peanut returned to the LCK after a short year in LGD Gaming, where he also made it to the World Championship. Peanut returned to Nongshim RedForce, where all the players besides him were young prospects, and he became the center of the team’s macro. Peanut was awarded the Spring Season MVP in 2021 for his performance.

Starting with Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk, Gen.G has started to announce its roster. Nongshim RedForce has yet made any announcements regarding their roster, while the controversy with Kim “Canna” Chang-dong remains.
