T1 have released their Challengers team head coach Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong ahead of the 2022 season. This ends Bengi's long tenure for the organization, which he's represented both as a player and coach.
A crucial part of the SK Telecom T1 legacy of the olden days, Bengi was the starting jungler for the South Korean juggernaut and alongside Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok led them to their three world championship titles in 2013, 2015, and 2016. After a short single-split stint with LPL's Vici Gaming in 2017, Bengi eventually returned to SKT as coach ahead of the 2018 season and later transitioned to be the head coach of T1 Challengers.
