UPDATE #2 - Nov. 23: Shortly after Gen.G announced that their long-time bot laner, Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk will be with the team in 2022, they've also announced the acquisition of the top laner, Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon.
Debuting in the LCK as the top laner for Griffin, Doran played for DRX in 2020, and KT Rolster in 2021. While he failed to find success with KT, the carry potential that comes from his aggression was widely recognized by the community and experts alike.
Meanwhile, Gen.G confirmed that they've parted ways with 4/5th of their 2021 roster, with the exception of their long-time bot laner, Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk. Only the mid laner and the support player for Gen.G is yet to be officially announced, but sources point towards Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon and Son "Lehends" Si-woo to fill those vacant roles.
More to be updated soon.
