T1 AD carry Park "Teddy" Jin-seong is set to transfer from the organization ahead of the 2022 season according to a report by Upcomer's Tyler Erzberger. The report states that multiple teams from both the LCK and the LCS are interested in acquiring Teddy from T1.

Teddy spent the 2021 season splitting time with young sharpshooter Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong, but over time, Gumayusi began to start more and more leading into the 2021 LCK Summer Playoffs. While Teddy was on T1's roster for the 2021 World Championship, the veteran marksman did not play a single game at the event. Teddy was the starting AD carry for T1 at Worlds 2019, where the team finished in the top 4 after being eliminated in the semifinals at the hands of G2 Esports.

While several LCK franchises are said to be in the race for Teddy, sources also told Upcomer that the South Korean player is receptive to moving abroad, having accepted initial talks with at least a pair of North American franchises so far.

Teddy's case is not that of a standard benching. The AD carry performed quite well for T1, and in many areas, better than Gumayusi, in the 2021 LCK Summer Split and has plenty left in the tank to be in a starting position in either the LCK or the LCS. However, if T1 is looking to move forward with Gumayusi, a transfer of Teddy, who is currently signed to a multi-year deal with T1 which expires on November 21, 2022, a transfer makes sense for both parties.

Teddy joined T1 in 2019, and while he has not seen consistent play throughout that time, has won nearly two-thirds of his starts with the organization in the past three seasons. T1 declined to comment upon being reached out to by Upcomer regarding the report.
