Riot Games and Epic Games are teaming up to bring VALORANT, League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and Team Fight Tactics to the Epic Game Store this month. The collaboration is all in celebration of the upcoming Nov. 6th release of the Arcane, a TV series set in the world of League of Legends.
“Riot Games is one of the world’s best developers and creators of groundbreaking entertainment franchises,” said Steve Allison, Vice President and General Manager of the Epic Games Store in a press release on Thursday. “We’re excited they’ve chosen to partner with us to bring their titles to millions of new players through the Epic Games Store.”
Epic is also adding the League of Legends champion Jinx to Fortnite, in yet another cross-collaboration for Fortnite, a game that looks increasingly like a playable advertisement.
“Fortnite has executed high-profile collaborations and entertainment experiences while remaining committed to bringing players content that enriches their experience both in and out of game, a dedication we share and admire,” said Brandon Miao, Cross-Product Experiences and Partnerships Lead, Riot Experience (XP) at Riot Games. “We hope fans will enjoy seeing Jinx, one of our most iconic League of Legends champions, in Fortnite to celebrate the launch of Arcane.”
You can tune into Arcane on Netflix starting at 7 PM PT on Nov. 6th.
