Reaction videos have existed and thrived on the internet for almost a decade. Audiences young and old find entertainment in watching content creators, actors, athletes, and pretty much everyone share their first impressions of videos.

So when Riot Games announced a League of Legends TV series, Arcane, was coming to Netflix on November 6, naturally, longtime fans of the globally popular franchise were going to want to hear their favorite players and content creators thought about it. Well, as of Monday morning, they learned that was going to be more possible than they could have imagined.

In an announcement on the series' social media platforms, Riot Games shared that co-streaming will be enabled for the first episode when it goes live. For the first time, content creators on Twitch's streaming platform could broadcast themselves watching the show's debut with their dozens, hundreds, or thousands of fans live.

In a press release, Brandon Miao, the Cross-Product Experiences and Partnerships Lead at Riot Games, said this concept will be a slam dunk for players:

"Interest in deeper storytelling from our global player base played a big part in our decision to make Arcane, so it’s only right that they will be able to watch the first episode of Arcane together as a community. When designing the event, we wanted to blend traditional entertainment with innovative, digital-first approaches that increase access for players around the world, creating something new for people to enjoy together."

In addition to the co-streaming announcement, Riot Games let the playerbase know that a red carpet event will be held at Riot's Headquarters in Los Angeles for media and content creators where they will be able to live stream their experiences to the masses. Invitees from more than 30 countries will be in attendance to help celebrate the premiere episode.
