On August 28, DWG KIA mid laner Heo "ShowMaker" Su got his 1,000th kill in the LCK. In game 4 of LCK 2021 Summer split finals, ShowMaker reached the 1,000-kill milestone with LeBlanc. ShowMaker is the 17th player to reach 1,000 kills in LCK.  With his 1,000th kill, DWG KIA won the LCK Summer split finals, taking three consecutive LCK Championships. ShowMaker was awarded LCK Finals MVP.

ShowMaker debuted in the LCK as a member of DAMWON Gaming in 2018. Over his 4-year, he got three LCK Championships and won the 2020 World Championship. He became the player to reach 1,000 kills in the shortest time period.

With 1,000th LCK kills, Finals MVP, and an LCK trophy, ShowMaker will aim for DWG KIA's second World Championship trophy.
