The 2021 League of Legends Champions Korea Summer Split has concluded and the post-season matches have been set.

Six teams will face off to see who is crowned the new champion of South Korean League of Legends in the 2021 LCK Summer Playoffs in best-of-five matches that will have massive implications on who will represent the region at the 2021 World Championship. None of the teams have made any roster changes before the start of the post-season.

In the first round, 3rd seed Nongshim RedForce will face off against 6th seed Afreeca Freecs, while on the other side of the bracket, 4th seed T1 will take on 5th seed Liiv SANDBOX. The losers will be eliminated from the LCK Summer Playoffs, while the winners will move on to the next round, where 1st seed DWG KIA and 2nd seed Gen.G will be waiting after enjoying a first round bye as a result of finishing in the top 2 of the LCK Summer Split standings.

As the 1st seed, DWG KIA will choose which of the two round 1 teams it faces off, while Gen.G will be tasked with battling the other. The winners of these two matches will go on to the finals of the LCK Summer Playoffs, with the winner being crowned champion and automatically qualifying for Worlds 2020 as South Korea's #1 representative seed.

Becausee of its round 2 bye, spring champion DWG KIA has confirmed a spot at Worlds 2021. Even if DWG KIA does not win the Summer Playoffs, a top 4 finish will ensure that the squad has the highest amount of championship points in the league aside from the summer champion, which would guarantee at least a 2nd seed to defend its Worlds 2020 title this fall in China. No other LCK teams have qualified for Worlds 2021 at this time.
