T1’s former head coach Yang "Daeny" Dae-in said he is “quite angry” about the decision.

Daeny sent a message briefly over the phone after T1’s press conference on the decision to fire the coaches. He said, “I am quite angry about this decision, but I will try to talk with T1 first. Anyway, I hope T1 does well. I will talk with the team first then convey my position.”

Earlier this year, Daeny became the head coach of T1 with coach Lee "Zefa" Jae-min. However, he was fired during Round 2 of the Summer split, which is an unprecedented situation. On this decision, T1’s general manager Choi "Polt" Seong-hun said “Decision to fire was the best choice for a better result.”

On July 15, T1 will play the 2021 LCK Summer split match against kt Rolster in the first match of the day
