The Krig 6's moment in the spotlight is finally here!  While there are a lot of good long-range weapons in Warzone right now that feel like lasers like the FARA 83 and C58, perhaps no other AR is easier to use at long range than the Krig! Maybe that explains its exploding popularity here in the Warzone Season 4 meta. Not only is it one of the best long-range rifles, it's also one of the most fun to play with!

Use this loadout to make the Krig arguably the best long-range rifle in Warzone Season 4!

Overview to the Krig 6 in Warzone

The Krig 6 has a pretty standard time to kill for an assault rifle. In the latest patch, up close the Krig's realistic time to kill is 550 MS and at long-range you can expect around 650 MS kill. What makes this rifle unique, however, is that when you use the right attachments it becomes really easy to consistently deliver kills.

While some guns can kill a little faster, very few can kill as easily as the Krig 6. You can use this weapon in close-range duels with no issues and its ability to just beam enemies across the battlefield is just too good to pass up. That is what makes this weapon both one of the most popular and one of the best rifles in all of Warzone Season 4.

Best attachments for the Krig 6 in Warzone Season 4

  • Agency Suppressor
  • 19.7" Ranger barrel
  • Axial Arms 3x
  • Field Agent Grip
  • STANAG 60 Rnd magazine

Agency Suppressor

As always, it's important to stay off enemy minimaps and keep a low profile in Warzone. Whether you are fighting early, mid, or late-game encounters, it will always be a benefit to remaining stealthy in the Warzone battle royale mode. Of course, if you are playing in Plunder or the new Payload mode, the suppressor is probably less essential, but generally speaking, I always recommend running a suppressor when you can.

19.7" Ranger Barrel

The Krig 6 is definitely best at long range, so the Ranger barrel's additional +100% bullet velocity is a very welcome addition to the gun. It is well worth the 20% hit to your aim walking speed, since the improved bullet velocity will make a huge difference in your ability to quickly laser down enemies at long range.

Axial Arms 3x Optic

The 3x Axial Arms optic is by far my favorite for this setup, since its low visual recoil, combined with the low recoil of this weapon, makes tracking targets a breeze. You will be shocked at how easy it is to just beam enemies down using a 3x, and it is fun every damn time.

Field Agent Grip

The Field Agent Grip is going to reduce both horizontal and vertical recoil. This weapon already features a pretty low level of recoil, when you slap this grip on it, the recoil becomes all but imperceptible. The Field Agent Grip will penalize your moving while shooting, but the sacrifice is definitely worth it for the lower recoil.

STANAG 60 Rnd magazine

The 60 Rnd magazine is a no-brainer for this gun. With 60 rounds, you can take out multiple targets with a single mag, or track a long-range target without fear of running out of bullets. Just in general, having more bullets in the magazine is very helpful to a wide variety of situations in Warzone season 4, especially in a longer-range weapon like the Krig.

Best perks and equipment to use with the Krig 6 in Warzone

  • Perks 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Tactical equipment: Heartbeat Sensor
  • Lethal equipment: Thermite

Double Time

Double time is a perk that extends your sprint time and increases your crouch movement speed. The versatility of this mobility-focused perk has made it one of the most popular picks in Warzone Season 4. With the Krig 6, your most dangerous situations will be when running between cover, this perk will help keep you in danger for the least amount of time when repositioning.

Ghost

With so many players running Heartbeat Sensor, it only makes sense to counteract that dominance by running the Ghost perk which keeps you off UAVs and heartbeat sensors. While the Krig 6 isn't a short-range weapon, staying off people's heartbeat sensors will help keep you stealthy and give you the advantage in your fights against those not running Ghost.

Amped

The Amped Perk allows you to switch between your weapons faster. It's not the most impressive of perks, but it sure does come in handy when you run out of bullets in your magazine, and need to switch to your secondary quickly or die.

Heartbeat Sensor

If you can't beat them join them, right? The Heartbeat Sensor is a powerful intelligence-focused piece of equipment that can literally identify enemies through walls. While those with Ghost will be immune from the effect, the players who weren't able to acquire perks via a loadout drop will be easy to find and kill while running this piece of equipment.

Thermite

Thermite isn't the most popular piece of lethal equipment in Warzone Season 4, but it is among the top pieces of equipment. Thermites' ability to supply both damage and area control when needed makes it a great pairing with the Krig 6, since you can use your thermite to force enemies out of position into your line of fire.
