Noh "Arrow" Dong-hyeon has signed with esports organization Wildcard Gaming as the two way player coach for its amateur League of Legends squad. The South Korean AD carry has been inactive since playing for OpTic Gaming in the 2019 League of Legends Championship Series season, and his new role with Wildcard Gaming will mark the first coaching role of his career.

After beginning his career on South Korean squad Xenics Storm, Arrow made his professional debut on KT Rolster Arrows in 2014 OGN Champions Spring. Arrow remained on KT Rolster for the next two years of his career before joining Phoenix1 ahead of the 2017 NA LCS Spring Split, in which he would go on to win the MVP award.

Arrow joined OpTic Gaming ahead of the 2018 season, but in his two full years with the squad, failed to find the same level of success he had in his first split in North America on P1. The AD carry was inactive for the entirety of the 2020 season.

Wildcard Gaming has been in the League of Legends amateur scene since the end of 2017, but has found a new level of exposure in competition for itself due to changes to the competitive circuit for North American League of Legends in 2021. Most recently, Wildcard Gaming competed in the 2021 LCS Spring Proving Grounds, where it suffered two narrow losses to Dignitas Academy and Immortals Academy and found itself eliminated despite two contentious matches.

Arrow's signing is the third move Wildcard has made since being eliminated from the LCS Spring Proving Grounds. On April 15, Christopher "Prussian" Troeh parted ways with the organization, and one day later, Joshua "Xeno" Kim, who had also been playing for the University of Illinois since the fall of 2017, retired from competitive League of Legends in its entirety.
