Raven Software patched out the unlimited range-fall off, however this weapon is still competitive with the FFAR due to the increased damage on the Mil-Spec Barrel on the Groza and the nerf to the FFAR which lowered its ADS time in the April 6th patch.

The Groza is a quickly rising star in the Warzone Season 2 meta, due to the developers buffing a key attachment for the weapon.

When equipped with the 16.5" CMV Mil-Spec Barrel, the Groza can now hold its own against the FFAR and has the potential to completely dominate Verdansk in short-to-medium range conflicts. This is because the barrel not only increases the damage of your weapon, it also removes the damage reduction at range from this rifle entirely.

Here is the best loadout to take advantage of the new buffs to the Groza!

Best Groza attachments to use

Muzzle - GRU Suppressor

Barrel - 16.5" CMV Mil-Spec Barrel

Stock - KGB Pad

Underbarrel - Spetsnaz speedgrip 

Ammunition - Spetznaz 60 Rnd Drum

This loadout is built to specifically increase mobility of this weapon, as well as control its recoil. Minimizing the recoil on this gun is key to maximizing your potential in medium and longer range fights. When this longer-range damage potential is combined with the 60 Rnd Drum mag, this gun is capable of downing an entire armored squad in Warzone without having to reload.

The GRU suppressor will also go a long way to keeping you alive when using this weapon. Trying to stay off the radar is key to success with most guns in Warzone, and the Groza is no exception. 

For those who want to turn their Groza into a close-range killing machine, consider swapping out the KGB Pad with the CQB Pad and throwing on a Steady Aim Laser. With this setup, you can reliably shoot from the hip with this gun. This setup will not, however, take advantage of the broken qualities of the Mil-Spec Barrel, so keep that in mind.
