The 8-week journey of the biggest-ever PLAYERUNKNOWN’s BATTLEGROUNDS event has come to an end. The final winners of the 2021 PUBG Global Invitational.S were Soniqs of the NA region. In the final Week 6 Weekly Finals, Soniqs collected 90 points to claim 1st place. With the win, they secured a total of $1,296,189 in prize money and topped all the participants. They came up from 15th overall for the final championship.
Zenith Esports came 2nd in earnings by securing 2nd place in the final week and winning Week 4 Weekly Finals. Their total earnings were $1,009,822. Following Zenith Esports was Gen.G with $928,182 and Four Angry Men with $455,299.
In the long schedule, there were six winners in six weeks. Afreeca Freecs started with a win in the first week. Following Afreeca Freecs were Four Angry Men, FaZe Clan, Zenith Esports, Gen.G, and Soniqs. Triumphant Song Gaming took home the title of the PGI.S Survival Tournament between weeks 3 and 4.
With PGI.S 2021 over, PUBG Esports will continue on with regional tournaments leading up to the grand PUBG Global Championship in November.
