Update March 10th - 9:30 PM PT:
sinatraa released a brief statement to Twitter on Wednesday evening, in which he denied the allegations of sexual assault made by his ex-girlfriend.
"It is clear from Cleo’s recent post that she recalls our relationship differently than I do," the player explained in a Twitlonger. "What we do agree on is that it was unhealthy for the both of us. I apologize to Cleo and regret how things ended, but I never assaulted her in any way. I am fully cooperating with the investigations and providing the full audio and video clips Cleo referenced in her post."

Online personality Cleo ‘cle0h’ Hernandez released a nine-page statement on Tuesday evening, in which she detailed allegations of sexual assault and domestic abuse against her ex-boyfriend Jay “sinatraa” Won, who is currently a pro VALORANT player for the Sentinels.
cle0h and sinatraa formerly dated for a nine-month period before ending their relationship partway through 2020. She has been mostly silent about her relationship with the professional esports player since they broke up, however she decided to break that silence and come forward with her story on Tuesday.
“What I want to talk about is the sexual abuse that was prevalent throughout most of our relationship,” cle0h said in the introductory section of her statement. “I never wanted to speak about this and I still have extreme trauma relating to this topic, but i’m incredibly tired of keeping this a secret for him.”
In the document — which is extremely graphic so readers should be warned before proceeding to read — she alleges that:
- sinatraa refused to wear a condom and finished inside her without her consent the first time they had sex
- On multiple occasions, sinatraa continued to have sex with her, despite her saying no and telling him that she was in pain
- sinatraa consistently emotionally manipulated her into having sex when she didn’t want to
- sinatraa constantly manipulated her by threatening to break up with her
As evidence for her sexual assault claims, she supplied an audio recording from a consensually recorded video, in which she can clearly be heard saying “no”, while sinatraa refuses to stop. According to cle0h, this was not an isolated event and instead happened regularly over the course of their relationship.
cle0h also presented a number of screenshots of text conversations with sinatraa to back her claims about his emotionally abusive behavior.

Near the end of her statement, cle0h explained the impact of sinatraa’s actions on her mental health and well-being, saying, “it might be a year later but I’m still dealing with the damage he did to me every single day. I’ve had to give up interests and loves in an attempt to not see his face or hear his voice. I’ve called sexual assault survivor hotlines countless times. Talked in anonymous groups for women who’ve been assaulted. Spent over a year of my life in therapy trying to heal myself and get back what he took from me.”
“You all always say that there’s no proof so you can’t believe a woman accusing someone and i’m begging you to realize that I have that concrete “proof” you’re looking for, and to believe me and hear me,” she implored. “This is the scariest thing I’ve ever done and I wouldn’t risk having thousands of people hounding me to just be lying. He's too established for me saying he harmed me to do any real damage, I know that. I don't want to make him feel anywhere near the way he made me feel. I just don't want to keep this secret for him any longer. ”
On Wednesday, both Riot Games and the Sentinels announced that they had suspended sinatraa and opened investigations into his conduct. In addition, the Shock released a statement in which they distanced themselves from the player and the Overwatch League announced they would be refunding OWL tokens to anyone who bought the sinatraa themed alien Zarya skin.
