On Nov. 24th, Hanwha Life Esports announced the acquisition of the legendary bot laner, Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu. With the acquisition news of Park “Morgan” Gi-tae and Kim “Winter” Yo-han, it seems that HLE are well on their way to building a solid roster for the 2021 season.

Deft debuted under Samsung Blue in 2013, and is now in his 8th year of his competitive career, With 14 championship wins under his belt, he’s always been considered one of the best bot laners in the world.

With the acquisition of Deft, the focus now shifts to HLE’s empty mid lane position. Who will be the one to fill the mid lane position? Will HLE be able to recover from their poor past performances?
