UPDATE 11/20: Cloud9 has since officially confirmed Perkz's arrival.

Original story:

Cloud9 had a record Spring Split, with the most dominant single split in LCS history. They extended their dominance through the first half of the summer split, going 9-0 to start, but they failed to make it to Worlds, collapsing at the end of the year. Despite claiming they'd keep their roster together, they've made a couple of changes. Here is the current roster rumored for Cloud9.

Jungle Blaber Blaber
Mid Nisqy Perkz

Confirmed player signings are in green. Confirmed player departures are in strikethrough red. Transfers reported by reputable sources are in purple.

After the OPL closed down earlier this off-season, Cloud9 announced the news that they'd be promoting their Academy top laner, Ibrahim "Fudge" Allami, replacing former star top, Eric "Licorice" Ritchie. Fudge played on the C9 Academy roster, winning back to back splits with the team, and he was previously a strong talent in OCE. In their second roster move of the off-season, Cloud9 released their mid, Yasin "Nisqy" Dinçer, and in multiple reports has been rumored to sign legendary G2 Esports mid/bot laner, Luka "Perkz" Perković. That trade has not yet been finalized, but reports by Jacob Wolf indicate an initial ask of a $5 million buyout, though he later updated that, saying the actual buyout would be lower.

In addition to their player changes, Cloud9 announced a coaching change, releasing longtime coach, Bok "Reapered" Han-gyu, and promoting Kim "Reignover" Yeu-jin to the LCS head coach position.

UPDATE 12/4: Cloud9 has announced the signing of Alfonso "Mithy" Aguirre Rodríguez as a strategic coach. Mithy will be joined by strategic coach Max Waldo and positional coach Marius "Veigar v2" Aune to round out C9's LCS staff.

C9 has also recently announced the finalization of its rosters for Cloud9 Academy and Cloud9 Amateur
