On the 11th (KST), SANDBOX Gaming announced through their official Twitter that Son “Punch” Min-hyuk will be leaving the team. 

Alongside Han “Lonely” Gyu-joon, who also departed from the organization earlier this month, the two players were SB’s substitutes for round 1 of the 2020 LCK Spring split. However, as Kim “OnFleek” Jang-gyeom continued to start for the team in the Summer split, Punch continued to stay on SB’s bench.

Recently, OnFleek faced penalties due to his inappropriate comments in solo queue. Not only is he faced with a large fine, he was suspended for the entire round 1 of the 2021 LCK Spring split. With Punch also leaving the organization, it’ll be curious to see who’ll be the one to fill SB’s jungle role.
