SANDBOX Gaming announced the departure of their top laner, Han “Lonely” Gyu-joon. Via their official Twitter, SANDBOX announced that they have mutually parted ways with the young top laner.

Lonely’s first appearance in the LCK was in the 2020 LCK Spring split, where he was called up from the academy roster to sub in for Park “Summit” Woo-tae. However, he failed to leave an impressionable performance, ultimately being subbed out and was left out of the main roster since round 2 of Spring.

Regarding the departure, the organization commented, “We thank him for his contributions and wish him the best of luck in the future.”
