SANDBOX Gaming has signed Kim “Micro” Mok-kyoung as their new head coach. Micro started coaching in Incredible Miracle and later coached Kongdoo Monster. In 2017, Micro established DAMWON Gaming and became their head coach. Micro had left DAMWON Gaming in February. During the summer, he made Awesome Academy to nurture amateur players.

SANDBOX Gaming recently parted ways with their head coach Jakob “YamatoCannon” Mebdi. Since their promotion in 2019, SANDBOX Gaming reached the playoffs twice, but weren’t able to get good results in their sophomore year.

On signing Micro, SANDBOX Gaming said, “We are pleased to announce Kim Mok-gyeong (Micro) as our new head coach of SANDBOX Gaming for the 2021 season. Please support us in our quest to become a more confident and aggressive team”.
